Schools
Public education begins with half or full day Kindergarten (K) for children who will be 5 years old by September 1. Elementary School is K-12th Grade, Middle School is 6-8th grade, High School is 9-12th grade. Public education is free. Private education and preschool requires tuition payments. Qualifying children receive free public preschool education (see district website for more details).
