Enrollment Requirements
As an F-1 visa student, you are required to be enrolled in a full course of study throughout your time at Wheaton College.
At Wheaton College, full-time is defined as:
Undergraduate students must enroll in a minimum of 12 credit hours per semester (fall/spring), except during their final semester. Up to the 3 of these credits can be be online with a 12 credit load.
Master's students must enroll in a minimum of 12 credit hours per semester (fall/spring), except during their final semester. If the summer semester is one of their primary academic terms, a master's student must be enrolled in a minimum of 8 credit hours.
Doctoral students must enroll in a minimum of 10 credit hours per semester (fall/spring), except during their final semester. If the summer semester is one of their primary academic terms, a master's student must be enrolled in a minimum of 5 credit hours.
Please note: there are some exceptions to the full-time rule. See your DSO if you think you need to register below full-time.
